Founder Story

Mushy’s was founded by Priyanka, inspired by her goldendoodle, Hailey, and the kind of love only a dog can make you feel.

The name “Mushy’s” comes from that warm, comforting feeling of wanting to hold your dog close, forget everything else for a moment, and appreciate how completely they trust you.

Priyanka brings both heart and discipline to Mushy’s. She is a Gold Medal finance graduate with an MBA in Finance and Analytics, and has built her corporate finance career across India, the United States and Canada, working with organizations including Honeywell, JPMorgan, Del Monte Foods and Svante.

Priyanka is also a Seattle-based lifestyle content creator and the founder of Seattle Sisterhood, a local community created to bring women together through meaningful connections, events and collaborations. Her experience building audiences, creating content and growing community adds another layer to Mushy’s — a brand designed not just around great care, but around memorable experiences, trust and connection.

That background shaped the way Mushy’s is run today: with attention to detail, consistency, accountability, organization and a very high standard of care.

Her love for dogs also led her to complete the Karen Pryor Academy Foundation program, giving her a stronger understanding of positive-reinforcement and force-free approaches to working with dogs.

Hailey is the reason it all became personal.

Priyanka wanted the kind of care she would choose for her own dog — small-scale, thoughtful, loving and never one-size-fits-all. That idea became Mushy’s.

Today, Mushy’s offers boutique boarding, daycare, training support, dog birthdays, photoshoots and thoughtfully chosen products, all built around one belief:
